RukaUhtua is a private luxury chalet, designed for guests who value silence, space and uncompromising quality. The chalet is located in the peaceful Keisarinvaara area, offering a rare combination: perfect connection to the untouched nature of Lapland and easy access to the slopes, restaurants and services of Ruka – only 2.5 km away.
Built from hand-selected kelo logs, the 100 m² chalet exudes timeless Nordic craftsmanship and understated elegance. Every detail has been considered, creating a place where comfort feels natural and luxury is present without being superimposed.
Space and peace
RukaUhtua accommodates up to eight guests (4 + 4) in a peaceful and functional layout. Two bedrooms are located downstairs, and the spacious loft offers extra beds and a lounge area. High rooms, sculptural log walls and plenty of natural light create a warm and soothing atmosphere - the perfect place to slow down time.
Thoughtful amenities
The chalet is equipped for an effortless stay: a private sauna, a fully equipped kitchen, modern entertainment systems, fast Wi-Fi and laundry facilities. Everything is discreetly in its place - nothing is too much, and nothing is missing.
Private outdoor space & experiences
The chalet is located in a spacious built-up area, offering privacy and space to breathe. The backyard opens directly onto the untouched forest, without buildings or visibility to neighbors.
In the yard there is a private log-built Gielas-Kota, equipped with a large open-fire grill and complete equipment. You can easily organize an atmospheric, Lapland-style dinner or spend an evening by the fire in the hut. Gielas-Kota is the only one of its kind in the Keisarinvaara area, and it brings significant added value to evenings and experiential outdoor dining.
In addition, the yard has a premium outdoor jacuzzi, which offers a luxurious way to relax under the Arctic sky, and a traditional Kirami hot tub, perfect for peaceful moments in the snow or in the middle of the starry sky. Thanks to these, outdoor experience and well-being are seamlessly intertwined.
Nature, adventure and peace
The ski trails start about 500 meters away, and the snowmobile trail can be accessed directly from the yard. The iconic landscapes of Oulanka National Park, Karhunkierros and Riisitunturi are easily accessible for day trips.
